Brampton Engineering customer NOVA Chemicals was featured in the news section of Canadian Plastics for investing in a new Brampton Engineering 9-layer blown film co-extrusion line.
The equipment, which is now fully commissioned and in operation at the customer’s Centre for Performance Applications in Calgary, will enhance NOVA’s ability to collaborate with their customers in order to bring better performing products to the market quicker, generate new ideas, optimize co-extruded film structures and determine what materials perform best thus reducing production line interruptions.
Showcasing the unbeatable Brampton Engineering technology, the line is capable of running several complex film structures a day with precise layer distribution and excellent quality film rolls. The films produced will support NOVA’s expanded applications development work for the food packaging, heavy duty sack and other flexible packaging markets.
